Nonwoven fabric products
Seven grades cover almost every enquiry we receive. Choose by the property that decides your product (hand feel, strength, barrier, bonding), then send the specification for a grade confirmation.

How the options compare
| Process | Main strength | Typical application | Buy first if |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spunlace | Softness and absorbency | Wipes, personal care, wiping | Lint and hand feel decide acceptance |
| PP spunbond | Tensile strength at low weight | Hygiene, packaging, agriculture | Strength and cost per square metre decide |
| SMS / SMMS | Barrier with breathability | Medical, hygiene barriers | Barrier tests decide acceptance |
| Meltblown | Fine fibre filtration | Filter media, composites | Efficiency and pressure drop decide |
| ES hot rolled | Soft hand, closed bonded surface | Hygiene topsheet, covers | Surface and hand feel decide |
| Bicomponent | Softness with tenacity | Medical, filtration, soft webs | Bonding behaviour decides |
| Polyester (PET) | Wet strength, stability | Mattress pockets, industrial | Width and tensile decide |
Choosing by property rather than by name
Buyers often start with a process name because that is what the last supplier used. The property that decides acceptance is usually different: lint level for a wipes converter, hydrostatic head for a medical buyer, UV life for an agricultural importer.
If you know your property and not your process, write the property in the enquiry. We will tell you which of the four families can meet it and which cannot.
Not sure which process you need?
Send the application and the property that decides acceptance. We will point you to the grade.
Questions
Common questions
Can you supply more than one process in a container?
Yes. Mixed loading is quoted per combination because packing and documentation change.
Do you make other nonwoven types?
Needle punched felt and geotextile appear in the current plant range. They are quoted on request while the line configuration for those products is confirmed.
