Nonwoven fabric supply for German buyers
German buyers ask for the same fabric as everyone else and three more things: a written tolerance, a test method, and a document that matches the grade. That suits the way we work.

Why German enquiries convert well
A German buyer usually sends a specification document with tolerances, a test method and an acceptance level. That is the input we need, so the first reply can be a real answer instead of a list of questions.
The usual gap is a pass level without a test method. Two labs can measure the same property and reach different numbers, so the method has to be in the specification before either side signs.
Documents and declarations
Beyond the shipping file, buyers in the EU commonly ask for a technical data sheet, a safety data sheet, and where relevant a statement on substances of concern. Those documents are issued against the specific grade, because a generic statement is worth nothing in an audit.
If your quality system requires a supplier declaration in a particular format, send the template with the enquiry. Filling your form is faster than converting ours afterwards.
Tolerances, packing and delivery reliability
EU converters tend to specify tighter tolerances on width and winding than buyers in other regions, because their lines run at higher speed and stop cost is high. We write the tolerance into the order confirmation so the inspection has a reference.
Delivery reliability is judged over quarters, not shipments. That is why the first order is usually a trial roll followed by a scheduled programme rather than a single container.
Language and technical discussion
Enquiries in German are read and answered in German where the technical content is straightforward, and in English where a plant engineer needs to be involved. Either way, the written specification is issued in English so both sides work from the same document.

Questions
Common questions
Do you deliver to Hamburg?
Yes, CIF and CFR Hamburg are quoted for regular flows. FOB is the usual basis for buyers with their own forwarder.
Can you complete our supplier questionnaire?
Yes. Send the form with the enquiry; questions about certificates are answered with the actual scope, not with a generic claim.
Do you supply REACH declarations?
Statements on substances of concern are issued against the grade. What exactly is required depends on your downstream obligations, so send the wording you need.
What about packaging waste rules?
Packing materials are chosen with the destination requirements in mind. Tell us if your market requires a particular packing specification.
