Sunlight is the specification
An agricultural cover sold into the Gulf is judged by how it behaves after a summer, not by how it looks in a sample box. UV stabilisation level, colour and sheet weight all interact, and the installation method decides whether the sheet survives the wind.
Ask for the accelerated ageing result and the conditions it was run under. A supplier who answers a service life question with an adjective has not answered it.
Conformity documents
Saudi imports generally require conformity documentation under the SABER system, arranged by the importer or their agent against the product and the applicable technical regulation. Nonwoven roll goods for industrial use and agricultural covers fall under different product categories, so the requirement depends on the HS code and the declared use.
We prepare the commercial and origin documents and cooperate with the conformity body your importer uses. We do not issue the Saudi certificate ourselves.
Industrial wiping in a hot, dusty environment
Workshop wiping in the Gulf often deals with heavy oil and fine dust rather than solvents. Heavier spunlace grades with a higher pulp or viscose content absorb more, and a stronger wet tensile matters if the cloth is wrung out.
Tell us the contaminant and how the cloth is used. That distinguishes a general purpose workshop wipe from a precision cleaning product.
Shipping and seasonal planning
Agricultural covers are seasonal. The order has to land before the planting or covering window, which means booking earlier than buyers expect when the schedule is tight.
Tell us the season you are preparing for and we will work the ship date backwards from it rather than quoting a generic lead time.

Can you supply a UV grade with a 24 month outdoor claim?
Service life claims are made only against the ageing test we hold for that grade. Ask for the report and the test conditions before you plan a claim to your own customers.
Do you handle SABER registration?
No. Conformity certification is arranged by the importer or its agent. We supply the technical documents and cooperate with the certifying body.
Which port do you ship to?
Jeddah and Dammam are both quoted. Riyadh dry port is quoted with the inland leg included.
Is there a minimum for a seasonal order?
The minimum follows the run length for the grade and width. Seasonal orders are usually large enough to schedule a dedicated run.
