Nonwoven fabric supply for Middle East buyers
Gulf and Levant buyers rarely ask for the cheapest fabric. They ask what survives the sun, what arrives without condensation damage, and what documents clear customs without a second visit.

What Middle East buyers ask first
Service life under UV, and whether the fabric will still be intact at the end of the second summer. The second question is usually about the container: a shipment that crosses a humid season and sits on a quay can arrive with soft, creased rolls even when the fabric left the plant dry.
Both are specification questions, not price questions. They are answered with UV stabiliser data and with packing decisions taken at quotation.
Agricultural grades dominate the enquiry book
Orchards, greenhouses and landscaping drive demand for black ground cover, shade fabric and tree guards. Buyers compare per season rather than per square metre, so a heavier fabric that fails in twelve months loses to a lighter stabilised one every time.
For irrigation and greenhouse suppliers, the fabric often ships with other goods, which makes container fill and mixed SKU loading part of the requirement.
Documents and clearing
Most Gulf destinations accept a certificate of origin and a commercial invoice, with chamber certification required for some. Where the buyer re-exports, the origin documents have to match the final destination, which is why the paperwork is prepared against the order rather than a template.
Working across time zones
Gulf buyers are three to five hours behind China, which shortens the working overlap. Enquiries answered with a complete specification in the first reply save a day per exchange. Send the gsm, width, roll size, application and destination port together.
Sending an enquiry from the Gulf?
Include the application, the required service life and the destination port. The reply will name the grade and the packing that fits.
Questions
Common questions
Which UV grade suits Gulf conditions?
A stabilised PP grade rated for the service life you are claiming, with the accelerated ageing report behind it. The stabiliser level, not the weight, decides how long it lasts.
Can you ship to Jebel Ali or Dammam?
Yes, FOB Qingdao or CIF to the port you name. Tell us the port and we will quote the routing and the transit time.
How do you prevent condensation damage?
Desiccant in the container, a dry container check before loading, and packing that keeps the rolls off the floor. It is agreed at booking, not added at the port.
Do you supply Arabic labelling?
Roll and carton labels can carry Arabic text if the artwork is supplied. Confirm it at quotation because it changes the packing specification.
